Ball Handling Drills
Stationary 1-Ball Series:
Pounds (both hands)
High + Low Pounds
Alternate between high dribbles and low dribbles every 5 (both hands)
Side-to-Side (both hands)
Push Pull (both hands)
Figure 8’s (both directions)
Pound + Cross + Pound + Cross, etc.
Pound + Between the Legs + Pound + Between the Legs, etc.
Numbers:
1 right hand dribble + cross + left hand dribble + cross, 2 right hand dribbles + cross + 2 left hand dribbles, etc.
Go all the way up to 5 dribbles with each hand, before counting back down.
Can do the following three variations:

Stationary 2-Ball Series:
Simulatneous Pounds (can mix in high pounds & low pounds)
Alternating Pounds (can mix in high poinds & low pounds)

Wall Ball Handling Series:
Simultaneous 2-Ball Against the Wall
Alternate between dribbling higher on the wall and lower on the wall every 5 dribbles

Alternate between dribbling higher on the wall and lower on the wall every 5 dribbles
Right Hand Wall Tosses
Start by sanding 5 feet from the wall with your left side pointed at the wall, dribble twice and pass the ball to the wall with your right hand only. Catch the ball as it bounces back with your right hand only and repeat the process (5 reps)
Left Hand Wall Tosses
Start by sanding 5 feet from the wall with your right side pointed at the wall, dribble twice and pass the ball to the wall with your left hand only. Catch the ball as it bounces back with your left hand only and repeat the process (5 reps)

Rhythym Dribbling Between the Legs Full Court & Back

Dynamic 2-Ball Series:
2-Ball Simultaneous Control
Low walk to half court and backwards from half court back to the baseline. The goal is to complete as many 2-ball pounds as possible.
2-Ball Alternating Control
Low walk to half court and backwards from half court back to the baseline. The goal is to complete as many 2-ball pounds as possible.
2-Ball Sideways Simultaneous Control
Low sidewars shuffle to half court and go back from half court to the baseline facing the same direction. The goal is to complete as many 2-ball pounds as possible.
2-Ball Sideways Alternating Control
Low sidewars shuffle to half court and go back from half court to the baseline facing the same direction. The goal is to complete as many 2-ball pounds as possible.
Partner Ball Handling Series:
Figure 8’s Partner Pass to the Right

Left Hand Pound + Cross + Right Hand Pound + Pass (then repeat)
Right Hand Pound + Cross + Left Hand Pound + Pass (then repeat)

Change of Direction Series:
X1 guards 1 as they play full court 1 on 1, but the offensive player must stay between the lane lines.
The offensive player (1) is looking to beat X1 and attack in a straight line all the way to the rim.
If X1 gets beat, he needs to sprint and catch up to cut off 1 and force him to change direction.
Once you and your partner reach the other side, wait for the remaining players before alternating roles on the way back.
Full Court Alley 1 on 1:
